Systems - Mobile Operating Systems

This report shows the Operating Systems (O.S.) most used by visitors to your site utilising a mobile device, tablet or smartphone.

In the report called “Mobile Operating Systems”, all visits to your site are classified according to which Operating Systems (O.S.) were used by visitors to your site utilising a mobile device. The first table provides the following information:

• Number of listed Operating systems, that is the total number of Operating Systems (and their versions) used to access your site utilising a mobile device in a given time period
• Total visits    
• Visits from Desktop Devices (% out of the total number of visits)
• Visits from Mobile Devices (% out of the total number of visits)   

The Operating Systems (and their versions) are listed in the table herebelow grouped by Operating System.

Filters

• Calendar: it allows you to select the time interval for which you want to analyse the traffic data. For more info, click here.

Table
Each line of the table show the following data:

• Operating System (O.S.): it shows the name of the Operating System used to visit your site utilising a mobile device
• Visits: it shows the total numbers of visits to your site utilising a mobile device for a given Operating System
• Percent (%): it shows the percent of visits to your site utilising a mobile device for a given Operating System, out of the total numbers of visits
• Visits from Tablet: it shows the total numbers of visits to your site utilising a tablet for a given Operating System
• Visits from Smartphone: it shows the total numbers of visits to your site utilising a smartphone for a given Operating System
• Daily Unique Visitors: it displays the total (intended as the sum not de-duped) daily unique users who visited the site using the considered Mobile Operating System

Clicking on the “Day-by-day” icon in connection with each Operating System, you can access the report showing the trend of daily unique visitors and visits to your site using a mobile device for a given Operating System in a particular time period.


N.B.
Please note: data on unique visitors split by desktop and mobile users is available since October, 1st 2014.
Data on traffic split by tablet and smartphone is available since February, 12th 2015.
In the Free version Data on traffic split by tablet and smartphone is available since April, 9th 2015.


Versions of the Operating System (O.S.)
To view all details related to the Operating System versions used by visitors to your site utilising a mobile device for a given Operating System, just click on the blue arrow by the name of the Operating System that you want to analyze.

• Clicking on the Operating System name, you can expand the table and see detailed data.
• Clicking once again on the expanded Operating System name, you can close the table with Operating System versions information.
